One of our random buttons (see more on the site if you don't like this one):
"Cease fighting, for no good comes from innocent blood spilled;
There are four Clans in the forest, each one made up of an element to describe their type: AirClan, those of flight and grace; FireClan, those of heat and ferocity; EarthClan, those of ground and strength; and WaterClan, those of humidity and intelligence. Though they all are complete opposites of each other, they still manage to live in peace…
Until one day, a rebellious young member—an outcast that escaped from the Trainers—decided to create his own Clan. One that would stand the test of time and guide all others! He created EtherClan, that of matter and rebellion. Though with great disdain from the rest of the Clans, they finally grew to accept this new Clan as one of their own; and so, there were five Clans of the forest…
But EtherClan was growing out of control. Constantly needing land for their ever-increasing population, the others were quickly becoming cramped and crowded in their shrunken territories. Disputes over land were obvious and forthcoming despite the measures the gentle old Leaders tried to lead, but nothing worked…
All-out war was obvious. How could this be stopped? SpaceClan, the all-seeing Clan that held those of deceased Pokemon, became angry and brought a prophecy onto the dueling Clans…
The Leaders, too intent on fighting, continued the constant fighting until leaf-bare. Then the worst happened.
A mysterious sickness swept through the camps. It was not Blackcough, but none of the herbs held in possession could heal the afflicted Pokemon. Many died—apart from those truly pure at heart. EtherClan's Leader was the only Leader that survived that leaf-bare as the other Clans struggled to replace those that had fallen. In the end, each Clan was left with a Leader, Deputy, Healer, and two Warriors. It was a surprise to see that EtherClan's Leader remained standing without loosing a single life; was he really pure at heart? Perhaps the others had simply thought wrong about him after all…
And so the Clans are rebuilding, one new Apprentice at a time. But new challenges are already starting…will five Clans be able to survive in a forest that was only meant for four?
Pokewarriors: The Five Clans is based off of Bunny's original Pokewarriors site (which can be found here: pokemonwarrior.proboards106.com/index.cgi).
Pokewarriors is thus based off of Erin Hunter's book series "Warriors", which is about domesticated cats that live out in the wild. Pokewarriors uses the same concept, only with Pokemon instead of cats! Isn't that a twist?
These Pokemon live in groups called 'Clans", which are made up of the head honcho, the Leader; his assistant and next-in-line, the Deputy; the Clan doctor, the Healer; the defenders, the Warriors; those in training, the Apprentices; females either expecting or nursing, the Queens; the youngest members, the Kits; and the old folks, the Elders. These groups live in harmony…well, most of the time, anyways.
Occasionally they have disputes over territory and prey. Sometimes these disputes are brought on by prophecies, seen by the Leaders and the Healers. These prophecies are sent down from the overseeing Clan—in this case, SpaceClan—where all the dead members eventually go. Legend has it that they can be seen in the large pool of stars across the sky, which the Clan Pokemon call Shimmerpelt. Whenever a Pokemon dies, a new star is said to appear in this band of stars. Leaders and Healers can talk to their ancestors at Moonlake in the northeast where they mysterious Enigma berry grows. Eating one of these berries makes Pokemon go into a trance in which they see their ancestors and can talk to them.
In this installment of Pokewarriors, as the title states, there are five Clans instead of the usual four. The Clans each represent a dominating type based off the elements: AirClan, FireClan, EarthClan, and WaterClan are all the traditional elements. EtherClan, however, is not based off a type, and their simple existence is causing the other Clans a lot of issues…
